New Thing That Bugs Me

Parents emailing me and calling me my first name. That bothers me a lot. And then asking for ridiculous demands.

Also, my car hit 100,000 miles on Thursday (or was it Wednesday?). I'm sad because I missed it. However, I did get to watch it when it was 100,001 for a good mile. Who doesn't love palindromes?

Also, I plan to leave here early and go get the new Nine Inch Nails CD. Woo Hoo!

It bugs me because we're not friends, that parent and I. It's a very "You don't know me" situation.
I like that my co-teacher commented on the email and I laughed so hard in class that my face that all flushed.
It's a teacher thing, you had to be there.

Ha! i beat tou to buying the NIN CD. I bought it this morning at Target (stupid FYE was closed for inventory). They didnt even have it on the shelf and teh guy workign there had to dig through a shoppign cart of all teh new releses and they only had like 5 copies.... uncultured dumbasses. anyway, I only got to listen to a few tracks on the drive to work, But it was alright. So far not as good as th e fragile, but nothing to argue with either... Now i just have to get out of work so I can listen to the rest.

weezer's album comes out next tuesday. I'm so jazzed. NIN is fine and all, but it doesn't beat rivers cuomo whining about how shallow he is.

In my defense, I wrote that comment (and this as well) at work in the few minutes that I can sneak away to my cubical and be unproductive, so I was in a hurry. Secondly, my typing skills suck... I blame public schools. And Communism.

One - I didn't get the NIN cd yesterday because Target was sold out of it by 2:30 yesterday (or, at least the one on Route 1 was).
Two - When I talk about editing your work and how crucial it is for people to actually take you seriously I will pull Tim's comment and Ben's response and put it on an overhead to show them. I tell them about Tim and his lack of typing and proof reading skills, but I don't think they quite understand that gravity of the situation. Also, maybe it'll help them realize that people really do think less of you for having a poorly put together piece of writing with abundant simple errors.
