1. 2G Roses has ridiculously cheap flowers. The flower market in Silver Spring sells orchids for $13 a branch. 2G sells orchids (now these are just basic orchids --the SS place sells much more exotic orchids) for 10 stems for $30. Yes, you have to pay shipping, but I got 30 branches of orchids, two bunches of bear grass, 50 champagne roses, 6 floating gardenias, 10 white mini callas, 10 orange mini callas with shipping for $270 (which is like $60 cheaper than just getting 30 branches of orchids from the flower market. Also, 2G is based in Watsonville, CA and is all good with the environment and flower politics.
2. Our thank you notes just came in from Vista print. They look pretty awesome.
3. I'm working on our slide show in photostory. Yes, the program is free, but it could be a little easier to see. Everything is small and you can't maximize the window.
4. The seating chart is pretty much finished.
Left to do:
1. mend my mom's card box with glue and more pearls and ribbon
2. get vases for reception arrangements
3. make labels for treasure chests
4. assemble treasure chests
5. get labels
6. write thank you notes
7. decide/research getting someone to take pictures at the reception (although last time I checked, this was not really an option due to the cost)
Wow. That's not too much left. Too bad I have two all day trainings to go to next week...
