Pohick
As much as Ben loved the name of the last place, he was hesistant about living here because now he would need another name to use in polite society instead of saying "buttfuck" (referring to a place out in the boonies).
The kitchen in Pohick is sortof small. For example, the fridge is to the bottom right of the picture. If you open the fridge and stand right in front of it ... well, you actually can't do that. While the front room on this place is fairly large and is a plus, the dining room poses some interesting problems. 1. The blinds suck and I broke them (but fixed them). 2. There are mirrors on the wall. 3. Ben hits the light fixture because he is tall. and 4. Anna, what is there in the back of the picture? Are those the washer and dryer in the formal dining room? Why yes, you are right, the washer and dryer are in the formal dining room behind cheap, plastic acordian doors. Hot.
However, this place does have the nicest, largest yard of any place we looked it. It has that large shed for storage and another locking closet right outside the sliding glass doors. It has enough grass to actually make it a yard!
And, it has a lovely chandelier. Just lovely!
It also has three bedrooms. However, there is no pantry, no bathroom on the main level, and no basement. We went to look at this place again on Saturday, and the front of the house gets very hot. The sun just bakes the front of the house and there are no large trees.
