House # 1

I freaking already did this, but I guess I have to go ahead and do it over. Stupid Picasa and Blogger interface!!!

The first place we looked at was a condo in a near by development that I always thought looked like ski chalets. Well, the model is called chalet, so I gues that was the developer's idea.

Point one against this place -- it's on the third floor. There is an entrance on this side of the building, and then there is another entrance on the other side of the building. The doors are like blocked from each other by a wall, but the doors are about two feet from each other in the living room. It is very weird.


This place does have a loft (yay! loft!) with a large storage area, but you have to get your storage things up this lovely spiral staircase. Yeah, that's really practical.


Also, it has a crappy stacked washer and dryer. I don't like that. I want to be able to wash all of my clothes in a washer at a time. Maybe that's a little bit of a lofty dream.
