House # 2
This is another two story condo in a nearby development. This one does not look like a ski chalet, but since this was the second place we saw, I still didn't have to whole picture taking thing down. The blonde woman in the picture is Peggy, our real estate agent, and the science teacher on my team. She keeps trying to dart out of the pictures I'm taking, so sometimes you can just see her hand.
One of the running jokes of the house hunting trips is the mention of a "lovely chandelier." I asked if this was the house that mentioned it, but alas, it was not.
The nickname for this house is "Owner Stopped By" because while we were there, the owner stopped by.
Since the owner was there, I asked him if the door configuration below bothered him. See, when you open the doors on the left that hide the washer and dryer, you cannot move since you are blocked by the fridge. Also, when you open the fridge doors, you are trapped until you close them due to the doors behind you. Very stupid. However, the owner mentioned that he never noticed the problem. Maybe he never washed his clothes? Or, maybe he never ate food?
This condo also had a loft, but this one had better stairs. This unit also had a large storage area. However, it also had this little room. The room was about three feet wide and ten feet long. It had doors that closed it off from the office off of the loft. I see no point in having a small, long closetish room before the storage area. It makes no sense!
