It's official - well, almost

So, the wedding will take place on July 29, 2007 from noon until four at Newton White Mansion. Well, it's official in the way that we still have a hold on it and my mom is faxing over the rental agreement on Monday. So, three wedding things down (getting engaged, setting a date, and picking a place) and so much left to do (caterers, cake, favors, dj, invitations, photographer, videographer, flowers, table settings, my dress, bridemaids' dresses, jewelry, shoes, tuxes, officiant, rings, etc).

Look at you being organized... I guess that's actually something people are good at. Nice venue.

yeah, I think you made the best selection out of your choices. It looks like it's gonna be uber-nice. We still doing an omelette bar? :P

You're doing well though. As soon as you get dress decisions made and decide where to do it (since you can't do it this far away usually), the rest of it'll come pretty easy.

Sucks to be back at school I bet; hope you enjoyed your break and didn't do too much.

PS - I'll probably be in your area around May 18th, on the way down to Richmond... which is midweek. What do you have going on around that time?

wow, you are really getting a good start on planning things. We looked at Newton White (by we I mean elizabeth), but I think we decided it was too small or something. The olde fashion mansion idea is pretty sweet though, we are having our reception at a similar place in Towson. I also like your idea of djing yourself, but Elizabeth poopooed that idea... At least the guy we got will play piano during the cocktail hour, so thats kinda cool. If you need any suggestions for other vendors and stuff let us know, we have most of that stuff figured out.

Oh Kayla, May 18th is reading SOL day. If you came later, like after 2:30 we could hang out, but that's not a time I can take off. Stupid people requiring me to teach and proctor state exams!

Thanks for the complements on the planning, Will.

Newton White is too small for your wedding. Gosh, Tim, how many people are you going to have. It holds like 250 people. We are not going to dj it ourself, I don't think. Ben's in charge of finding a dj since music is so much more important to him than it is to me.

And yes, we are still doing an omlette bar. Omlettes and bagels. And possibly a chocolate fountain with fruit and wedding cake.

yeah, I dont know what was wrong with newton white then... cuz we have much less than 250... it looks really nice though, kinda similar to where we are doing ours.

This guy is our DJ if you want to make Bens job easier:

I wouldn't be rollin' through until after school is over anyway... i figure I'll leave Maine that day but I won't know until I try to pack and clean up my apartment after finals... but assuming I leave that day from Maine, I'd get to wherever we light (your place or Fuzzy's depending on what we decide to do) around dinnertime.

I think we may go out to a bar later b/c I will want to celebrate being back in civilization, which I figured you wouldn't be interested in b/c you'd have to get up for work and things; plus I know how you love drunk people. You are of course, invited, but I by no means expect you to show up, so don't feel bad if you don't wanna. If it works better, I figure Fuzzy wouldn't mind if I crashed there for that night, then I could visit you next day? If not, hell, I'll be in Richmond, so I'll only be like 2 hours away and we could meet in Potomac Mills when your schedule is lighter. :P
